Jaipur: A day after someone was arrested for incitement to suicide, police in Vaishali Nagar also added charges of the SC / ST (Atrocity Prevention) Law and also sentenced her for extortion. The police also made the deceased’s sister a witness in the case.
Police, upon questioning, discovered that the accused Dinesh Yadav was once a medical representative who did not make a living as a real estate agent and money lender.
As the police also added sections of the SC / ST atrocity act Rai Singh Beniwal, a deputy superintendent of police was appointed to investigate the case. âWe have also added Article 384 (Extortion) of the IPC against the accused. During the examination-in-chief, he confessed to having given money to the late Giriraj. For the vehicle, he said he had just facilitated the sale of the vehicle to the family, âBeniwal told TOI.
He added that in this case the sister of the late Giriraj is very important. âIt was discovered that Giriraj had taken 30,000 rupees from his home village of Sawai Madhipur when he visited the village in December. He had shared with his sister and other family members that he had taken out a loan and said money lender Dinesh Yadav was harassing him. So the sister’s statements would be very important, âBeniwal added.
It can be remembered that Giriraj murdered his wife, son and daughter and then committed suicide on Thursday at Bunkar settlement near Khatipura in the area of ââVaishali Nagar police station.
